Here's how we're taking action in our community:
We made perler bead keychains to sell at a Ripple Kids in Action event at our school. We raised money for the World Wildlife Fund. They help endangered animals.
Here's how we got the idea:
Our school was having a fair and asked if anyone was interested in being a vendor.
These are the steps we took:
We signed up to sell items at the fair. We made over 50 keychains out of perler beads. We priced them and sold them to students at our school.
Here are some of the results:
We nearly sold all of the keychains and raised $230 for World Wildlife Fund.
One of the coolest things that happened during my project was:
Our friends were so supportive and bought nearly all our keychains.
One of the most important things I learned was:
We can make a difference in our world by selling items that we made.
