Here's how we're taking action in our community:
We are donating to the ASPCA so we can help keep animals safe.
Here's how we got the idea:
We all love animals so we wanted to raise money to help animals.
These are the steps we took:
We researched online the best charities that support the safety of animals. Then we decided what to sell based on what everyone loves right now. The squishy toys are sol popular so we knew that would be a great item to sell at school. We bought them on Amazon. We had a play date and created a poster board for our sale. We coordinated with our Mom's to get everything we needed for the booth.
Here are some of the results:
We sold 170 squishly keychains for $2 each. We made $340. The cost of the keychains were $104. We made $236 for our charity. We made a lot of kids smile with our fun squishy keychains!
One of the most important things I learned was:
We learned that selling stuff is fun and we make people happy! Also, we feel good about making money and donating it to the good cause of protecting animals.
