Here's how we're taking action in our community:
We sent fund raising letters to our family and friends to make them aware of the need for houses people have in Tijuana, Mexico. Several people leave in cardboard houses.
Here's how we got the idea:
We got the idea when our Church, Calvary church of Santa Ana, was recruiting families to go down to Tijuana to build houses in conjunction with YWAM.
These are the steps we took:
I sent our fund raising letters to my friends asking them to support me financially and with prayers.
Watched videos of the project to get familiar with what we were going to be doing.
We had to learn the safety rules.
Then we packed our luggage and went to Mexico in big buses with a group of 120 people from our Church.
Here are some of the results:
Our family group built on house for a family of 4 two adults and two children
The Calvary Group built a total of 6 houses during the weekend.
These are the people who volunteered with me:

One of the coolest things that happened during my project was:
Lifting up the walls to build the house. And playing with the kids that we built the house for.
One of the most important things I learned was:
I learned a few words in Spanish. And learned how many people dont live in houses.
