Here's how we're taking action in our community:
We were raising money at the Ripple Kids Fair for National Park.
Here's how we got the idea:
We went to Zion National Park during spring break. My parents told me that people are going to cut the money for National Park so we want to help.
These are the steps we took:
- We made 100 duct tape flower pens & 70 Pokémon soaps.
- We sold them at the Ripple Kids Fair.
- We also sold them to our friends at other schools.
- We donated the money that we raised to National Park Foundation.
Here are some of the results:
We raised $383.5 by selling 94 flower pens and 70 Pokémon soaps.
One of the coolest things that happened during my project was:
You can make soap into different shapes by melting it.
One of the most important things I learned was:
It's fun to sell things to people and help our community.
