Here's how we're taking action in our community:
giving money to an organization which feeds hungry people in our community.
Here's how we got the idea:

These are the steps we took:
We made a sign and bought all the stuff you need to make ice cream sundaes (ice cream, whipped cream, cherries, sprinkles, Hershey's syrup), napkins, bowls, spoons, and an ice cream scooper. Then we set up a stand at our school's Ripple Kids fair.
Here are some of the results:
We worked as a group of 2 grown-ups and 5 kids. We raised $390 and served 78 people ice cream in one day.
One of the coolest things that happened during my project was:
So many people wanted our ice cream that we ran out of ice cream before the end of the fair.
One of the most important things I learned was:
working together as a group makes things a whole lot easier.
