Here's how we're taking action in our community:
We sold popsicles at our school's Ripple Kids fair to raise money for the Lewa Conservancy. This organization supports wildlife and education in Kenya.
Here's how we got the idea:
Audrey, one of the members of our group, went on an African safari last summer.
These are the steps we took:
We went to the store for supplies. Then we made a poster. We set up a table at the Ripple Kids fair and sold popsicles.
Here are some of the results:
We sold 59 popsicles for $2 each, making $118 dollars total. $18 went towards our expenses, and we sent $100 to the Lewa Conservancy.
One of the coolest things that happened during my project was:
